Anyone prepared to recommend who they feel sells best quality ragworm. Can't help but feel some tackle shops can sense I'm just getting back into it and trying to offload their leftovers. Due to work and family commitments I simply don't have the time to go digging (not just being lazy) so any one prepared to give a recommendation would be appreciated.

On Facebook there is a group called fishermans corner. Get yourself on there, there's always people selling bait and you'd probably get more from there for cheaper. Most of the people put pictures on so you can see of its decent before you buy as well. There's been people selling all kinds of bait so I'm sure you'll get what your looking for.
 
not know who sells the best as it might start an heated debate lol, but am sure you will not be disapointed with moon fleet defo cracking bait
 
see the problem with most shops it there have to have there worm send from wales and will only get 2 to 3 delivery's a week to save on the cost of a couiror
 
Another vote for Moonfleet. I was in on Saturday and it was all laid out to inspect. 2 types of blacks, 2 grades of yellow tails and big rag.
 
:Ddont buy much meself but what i have has come from moonfleet,ragworm please ,certainly would you like farmed or dug:question:
always decent stuff,not that i know much about ragworm;);););)



FOOT NOTE regardless of where you buy your bait CHECK IT IN THE SHOP,then the only thing wasted is your journey if its nae guid the noo

Never heard anybody say owt bad about moonfleets bait. Sound like that shop is realy taken care of its customers. If u sell good produce ppl will come to buy it :)

Thanks very much for all the comments lads, we pride ourselves on our bait and customer services, we are anglers too and if we arent prepared to use it then we arent prepared to charge for it, we inspect our bait regularly in the shop and change its water regular, we openly admit we dont make a lot from our bait as we try our best to pass on a good deal to the anglers, everyone is welcome in our shop and when we get our freshwater stocks in I am sure we will see lots more new faces, I certainly hope coming into Moonfleet is a pleasurable experience and you all leave happy, I would also like to mention you are within your rights to complain about anything direct with me and I will endeavour to correct any bad experiences, you should have that right at any other shops too.
I often recommend everyone should try other shops too, I dont expect Moonfleet to be the best at everything but if you take the time to visit other shops you can see the level of service and quality of bait and therefore vote with your feet and wallet and hopefully get rid of any stigma attached to some shops, or alternatively expose the very odd and exceptional "bad" shop or owner

once again thanks for all the comments good or bad, hopefully we can carry on expanding at quiite a nice rate
