had a few hours out of sunderland today tried a wreck 4 mile out but was netted off so thought i would try the rough ground off hendon ended up with 2 small cod 1 small ling and about 300 plus mackrell (one was 45cm) and 60 odd coaleys not as many cod about as the weekend but atleast there was plenty of sport to be had water was lovely aswell just a slight swell runnin

Well done mate, we have had some good fishing off hendon lately, ling is a species i have never caught but fingers crossed mine is out there!

forgot to mention the water was still a bit dirty and there was thousands upon thousands of jellyfish i have never seen anything like it before all diffrent shapes colours {mainly purple} couldnt get away from the things no matter where i moved

yep - tis what I've found in my limited experience too

especially the little purple round ones - you see them the macky arnt far away
