Well after getting wicked jack in amble marina last weekend, decided the weather was too good to miss today, so went up after work around 5.30. cracking evening, sea like glass but no fish. Going to be out all weekend with bait which will hopefully do a bit of damage.

The benefits of having the boat in a marina are instantly being felt....

One thing I would appreciate some advice on, is every time the boat hit a slight wave all my electronics went off - seems obvious that there is a loose connection somewhere, just wondered if anyone has experienced this problem and how they went about fixing it?

Dave,
If all of your electronics went off and not just one of them then it shows the cause of the problem is common to them all. Maybe the battery. I’d start at the there and check all the connections are tight then work your way along the wires until you find the problem.
Could the battery be dodgy and getting old or losing power? Try using a different battery, a £10 spare from a scrap yard could help you’ll have a back-up too.

Is your battery secure ?, some owners have the battery sliding about on the deck, causing loose terminals or broken wires.
