A was in reelsport on saturday getting some bait and happened to notice he had one of the above rods in the rack. Tell you what this LOOKS like a cracking piece of kit for the price, I think if i was starting out again i'd deffo be giving this rod consideration.

mint rods for real heavy work fishing wise best rod out there regardless of price if they were longer would be better than anything in my experience i have never thought this rod is not stiff enough from rock edges to cliffs

Break ya back trying to put a bit distance on ya cast. Well it did for me anyway, glad i got rid. Feels very heavy aswell, but its a really good rod for all in all heavy rough ground.

Amazing rods.
I'm a huge fan :)
I got two off the lads on here and gave one to a lad at work, who loves his as well!
I've had / got zippies centurys and can't see what the fuss is about tbh!
If your after a stiff FISHING rod that will throw a big lead a long way, you can't go wrong! :)

exactlly i had 7oz massive baits still stiff ideal for 30lb line straight through nowts getting away lol

Wouldnt use anything else for the winter, cracking rods but they are a little bit heavy and the butt is thicker, so if your using a reel like a slosh 30 you will need big hands.

got one myself a few weeks ago after using a conoflex for the past 8 year. the bite detection is not as good as the conoflex but it was a 1/3 of the price. it is a little bit heavy and takes a bit more bending to get a good cast, but value for money you can not go wrong.

I've only ever used the mark one 4 to 8oz 13ft 6 hellish rock rod. My mate who's 22 stone has it now.
