rag worm advice

hi lads can any 1 tell me the best way to keep rag worm what has been dug alive ad in the best condition as posable for as long as i can

Get a second hand fridge. Cat litter trays to put your worms in. Cover them with just enough sea water (about 1/2 inch), and most important.........CHANGE THE WATER EVERY DAY WHEN YOU CHECK THEM. Obviously discard any worms that are either dead or look pale.
Bit of care and your worms will keep for weeks. Also try not to put too many worms in each tray.

cheers mate i will give it a bash. how many worm would u say in 1 tray. ad what about worms where there tail's have came off. should i take them one's

yes keep them in a different tray. also if you do keep them in sea water put them in newspaper parcils a day before you use them, this will toughen them up.

fridge temp is of some importance also try and get fridge around 5 to 7%,and as the lads say they should keep a canny lang time

Normaly keep mine in sawdust when they are starting to turn, you can get a couple more days out of them(Still keep them in fridge though).

try putting them in layers of newspaper in a cat litter tray in the fridge , layer of paper about 10 worms , layer of paper 10 worms, and so on ,dampen the paper with sea water then put them in the fridge . they still need checking every day or 2 , keeped mine for quite a while , then a day or two before you need then wrap them in a roll in dry newspaper then store them back in the fridge they go bright red .

cat litter trays in the bottom of the fridge with a very small amount of sea water 10 worms in each tray cover with damp news paper soaked in sea water works for kept them for upto 3 weeks removing any dead or dying worms straight away change paper and water every couple of days that seems to work for me.
