Most private boats respect us, the trawlers are another thing, they could be registered
anywhere, just pulling in for fuel and a break.
I think a .243 should calm them down a touch!!

Why not! just pop the rifle in the rod bag.
Get real, no ones going to risk there ticket to blast at trawlers, let alone pull it out on the groyne
You should of starred in falling down next to michael douglas

Fished the groyne from 4 this morning about 12 trawllers left 2 came that close it snapped me off would off pulled my rod in if I did not have hold of it. Bearing in mind they left from north shield and were about 60 yards from the edge of the groyne I can honestly say it must off been deliberate why else come that far out your way I hope it wraps around his propeller and the tosser gets stuck out at sea . And rips all his nets and catches no fish

Not once have i condoned smacking a liberty taker in the mouth.
