I am sure they enjoy doing it.
Was fishing the Fish Quay one day & one came down the Quay without giving me time to reel in. He took all my line & as they passed, all the crew, who looked like a load of illegal immigrants, were stood down the side laughing.
What i shouted at them i cant print here and kinda surprised they didnt come looking for me after they docked.

Well 2 boats did mate no other reason to come that far across its opposite side of the river

Rules of the road and marine regs are fairly big legal reasons, with potential go to jail consequences

and if your pushing against the tide, keeping close to the bank makes the going easier

yeah should ban all boats from using the rivers its a disgrace the way they come in and out.
you would think the harbour authorities built piers and docks just for these boats to use .
