Nooo Fish

I woke up this morning about half 7 after an early night through loads of food n drink so I defrost a bag of mussel and a bluey n went down roker. I was hoping the pier was open but it was closed. Don't know why cos there was no wind and the sea was flat. Maybe the lad with the keys had the day off so I went on the ratty.
I got set up for about 9 am and my first 2 casts got 2 whitey out about 10'' long. A clever cormorant got the 2nd one when it hit the water. The fish must have been sick as owt getting released only to get swallowed by a bird. I got a few more over the next few hours all the same stamp. My 2 pals came down later with kipper, pickelled mussel and crab sticks. I couldn't stop having a chuckle at the crab sticks.
About an hour later a load of bigger whitey must have came in cos we started pullin loads of decent ones in for a while. One of the lads had one out on kipper and crab stick and a bloke next to us had a few on prawns. I kept the best 6 for my mate. He's going to put them in a curry.
I haven't got any pics cos I was too busy catching fish.
