planned on getting up at 2am and fishing the flood at hebburn but was too knackered only had a couple of hours sleep in two days so grabbed an extra 2 hours kip and fished the last 2 hours of the flood on the ratty. nothing for first 30 mins then whitings every cast all good size too. lost count but more than 20, plenty double shots. mainly caught on macky on the light rod but a few on worm on the other rod. hopefully try up the tyne early in the morning.

Was down yesterday mate. Rod was going crackers, fighting like mad when bringing them in. Some call them rats but they are a godsend when no cod about. Which is everytime i go fishing.
