Fished Ratty for about 3 hours yesterday. Not even a sniff of a bite using rag, mackrel.

Moved to Glass Center and fished for about 5 hours - 2 hours before high tide - again not even a bite on same bait.

Lobster pot pulled in about 50 crabs nothing worth keeping.

There are quite a few sprat showing up alongside roker pier, but the people I spoke to said that no fish had been caught, including mackerel.

Looks like it's back to carping for a liitle longer for me.

Hi to both the new guys. Aye we're in a bit of a lull to say the least here lately. It's nice to get on here though and realise you're not alone - so you know you're not doing something wrong!

Cheers for the welcome. I have been visiting the site for quite some time but just not replied. Basically due to not being fishing much.

Anyhow, went back to Glass Center yesterday fished from 11am to 6pm. Not a bite again.

High tide was around 4-15pm.

Bait used and we were using 5 rods with difffernt flatty rigs, 3 hook flappers etc, and bait.

Mackerel
Lug
Rag
Sprat
Mussell
Crab
Shrimp
Squid

All that was coming in was crab and very clean hooks.

Spoke to a bloke that was on there - he said he had been 9 times to the mark and blanked on everyone.

I will definately not be back there never saw a fish all day and there were about 10-15 other anglers up the river who never caught.

I did see one of the seals which may have something to do with it.
