well done trev.

was thinking of driving up that way myself lastnight but i didnt fancy driving all the way there from billingham to find out i couldnt getup or down that bank

yes the females are feeding to build up there roe that one had 4 small whiting or rockling and a small flatty in side when i gutted it :o

i mentioned the rathouse to a few people and been told its one of two places, hartlepool by the red light and the base of seaham pier, anyone care to set to set me right ??

some nice fish there for a session,as to the squid, try stuffing the mantle with mussel, adds a good scent trail to the bait

Old North Pier the rathouse its know as produces some good size fish on a big sea pushing in between the 2 piers where this is located further south from roker pier 500+ yards or so . rathouse corner is the mark along there where best fish are took and also along the end off the ramp with good swells pushing fish in ,cracking mark for good size whiting too usual rigs 2 hook flappers or pennel pulley rigs.you will find when no where else is fishable or to get out the strong winds everyone heads here espeacially club comps
