Helloooooo...
Fished the Rathouse yesterday so a could also watch the airshow, with a spectacular view to watch it from.
Got doon there at 9am to find 3 other lads further on the little pier where a was going but a went straight to the end still. Got all me gear ready and baited then waited for 'goose09' to arrive. Dunno what happend or where he was but he didnt turn up...
Anyways managed only two coalies all day, both which were good size though, 41cm and 43cm
. That dredger that's been there since Wednesday has certainly not improved the fishing much.
Left for home at 8.15pm, earlier than a wanted to due to me being very sunburnt and the 3 lads fishing behind me all sniffing lines of a white substance
, but a won't go into detail on that...
All in all a very nice and relaxing day, and the main event, the airshow, was excellent, though not as good as previous years. Top bait was fresh crab, ragworm came back either untouched or eaten by crabs, but that's life in fishing!!
