well i heard today that the council are going to fence the rathouse off with a six foot fence and all fishing is stopped.
reason i heard was a young lad fell in the water after drinking 8 cans and a bottle of vodka.
once again one angler spoiling it for hundreds.
hope it is not true

the thing is it is not 1 person but quite a few , but then you cant call them anglers as most if not all anglers save there drinking of alcohol till after fishing , in my case to drown my sorrows .

That will be the Old pier mate,not the Rathouse.
The Rathouse is in front of the boatyard and is a public footpath.

the rathouse was fenced off before , it was for maintenance but it can be done if they want to .
