re: mackems my comments

my heart goes out to the families and all concerned of the trawlermen missing. i know how hard a fishermans life is. i was a trawlerman for years out of hull, fishing in iceland and the barrents sea. and as for comments made by a fellow nesa member, and i quote \"so f*cking what, it doesnt matter where the flares come from.\" A flare is a rescue signal, also he said the reason he spells mackem macum is because he cant make the word am scum from mackem. this was my point in the first place. the right people to call scum are the people who set off the flares, and as for the rescue services being five miles out, as above like ive said a flare is a rescue signal. there is no need to f and blind, when replying to peoples posts. If i have upset or offended any nesa member or anyone else on this board, then i am deeply sorry for any of my untimely comments

if this was a post on the board then i missed it ?
i agree with mark this is niether the time nor the place

Apologies to all who did read the thread....I seen it late....my fault....but it\'s been deleted, now.

As has been said......NOT the time for that Roy !!
The banter and the \"rivalry\" that goes on on NESA between \"mackems\" and \"geordies\" is good natured and WITHOUT malice on either side.

To bring such a trivial thing up in response to what was reported on the news regarding such a tragic event shows a lack of rspect for anyone - be they \"geordie\"s or \"mackems\".
