Ready for the blow up

Sorted out some mussels today. Free bait, and seems to work. Not done it like this before, but basically going to shot a Gemini clip on the end, freeze these down and change them in seconds. Worth a shot....

I have done it, worked quite well except I didn't separate them before I froze them. getting them apart was a bugger so I would either keep them apart before you freeze or use a sharp knife after they are frozen. I put mine in netting tube that the carp boys use.

Good idea that. Will give that a try at some point

I did the same, used that fox armormesh with about 10 mussels in each sausage. Caught a fair few fish on them last winter.

I do it with left over blow lug. Just bait up as you normally would, wrap it in cling film and bang it in the freezer. Had fish to 6lb on it, although it washes out quicker than live worm.
