About the only place I can add to Davy's recommendations would be Crisps Gulley at St Mary's. It's flat & water is clear so you want somewhere with plenty of kelp.

Big crab baits & keep fingers crossed - there have been a few fish to 5lb from there in the past week. If you've got no crab, then lug & mussel cocktail (or all three together!).

Yes, lots of rocks and kelp but not horrendous - just use rotten bottoms & wind in fast!
