I would never use red ice tbh
Its the poorest quality line i have ever used snaps all the time and is not abrasive as alot of other lines

dont find it very abrasion resistant .

in the ultima lines i find the powerflex not to bad.

and ultima distance line i find very good the yellow stuff.


by far the best imho is the berkley trilene mono

daiwa sensor also very very good.

i dont know about that i am learning and still make mistakes.

berkley line whitley bay lads used it for yrs over very rough ground that says it all for me.

have you never tried the black ice mono.

i find red ice a soft line sits nice on multipliers but not for me.

but everyone to there own.
