sounds like the tabernackle as gone on it

Could be a limpet latched on to the side of the plate of the reel and its rubbing against the handle wen ya winding in I no a guy it's happened to before. U have to cast ya reel out as far as you can and drag it along the bottom of the sea bed to hopefully dislodge the Lil critter it's an epidemic at the min the wrekon

got an idear bigphil123, why dont you strip it down with you rubber screwdriver, put plenty silicon on the gears and that will stop the squeak 1000%. tight lines.:thumbup::thumbup:

When my reel is under any pressure the handle squeeks stripped it oiled it still does it. It's def not the rubber handle any ideas?

It's boring now
