Hi folks just wondering if anybody can reccommend someone local to myself that services and repairs reels????
Ive an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6501-c3 that needs a service as when out on sat it developed a squeak whilst reeling and seemed as if the handle wanted to jump, if that makes sense.
Im in the Blyth / Ashington area but dont mind driving to get good service

I took a 9000c to reelsport in Hebburn, took 3 days back as good as new £12 well worth it, as I had the sma issue the whole thing was jumping and it was unusable. Hope this helps
 
Cheers jakey might have look at that, never been in anglers united but drove past loads, will make it a to do next time up there

Hope you aint waiting for a quick reply m8 that post which the op started is over 12 years ago still nice to see local lads offering reel services..;)
