Regarding broken Tigra head lamp

I got a phone call of the shop assistant at the whitley bay shop telling me there was a fourth new battery waiting for me to pick up. I phoned them up and told them i did not want the battery and that i wanted a refund because i have no faith in the head lamp. They refused to do this saying their was o guarentee on teh head lamp which i do not believe so i phoned consumer direct and they put me through to trading standards and it is in the hands of them now. So beware if you buy anythin from these people because a gurantee means nothing to them!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else had any problems??????
 
It must be just you as I have had no problems with exchanges when I had problems with a fishing bag and then neoprene waders. Both of which were replaced without a hitch. First class service as far as I am concerned.
 
ask marty or vamp they seam to get refunds no problem.
as they have stated.
dont no what shop you or they use but ask to speak to the owner.
as the saying goes speak to the organ grinder not the monkey.
trading standards will sort it out.prob cost the shop treble when they have finished.
silly people with small childish minds mate.
hope you get the refund.

i must be getting half text on the threads as i dont seem to see were the shop at whitley has been mentioned.
can anyone shed anymore light on the issue.
thought most would agree with the lad regarding money back.
shouldnt matter what shop it is.

I totally agree he should have a refund however they have a business to run the same as any other dealer, no doubt there is a reason behind his problems,hopefully it will be sorted out soon.
Like the others say i've never had a problem there nor have i heard of anyone else
