thats in the past that was last derby game looking to the future now i can see the light .
That will be the light from the championship shining then as the mackems are only heading one way this season.

best player? you mean demba ba? that was in january, and of course it was a bad move for us, he was our top scorer (and sunderlands joint top scorer for a while) we struggled when ba left, few injuries, uefa football , all too much for a pretty small squad.
Gomis has reportedly signed, proven goal scorer , big & powerful, fingers crossed he does sign and hits the ground running, and we dont lose any one..
5under1and are one of the favourites to go down according to a few bookies, based on past prem league campaigns....least we forget the record low points (15?) total of 05 / 06
Funnily enough , I quite like pdc, hes enthusiastic & passionate, but he is a loose cannon, an unknown quantity.
A grown up debate would be nice now and then, but that would probably rule the majority of the smb's on here out judging by some of the replies.................:red:

No not ba simpson was your best player last season he was rated 4 best defender in prem or around 4th bad move letting him go for free. As for gomis not proven in english football, look how well barton done in france and he was poo

i would like to see darren bent sign for n/ufc just to see how he would fair ,what has happened to him the last couple of seasons.
i can honestly see man u going for cabaye/colicini obviously dosnt want to plat for nufc/can see krull leaving for foriegn club and cissie tto me not interested in nufc since ba left and can see ben arfa or whatever you call him leaving.
sunderland i would like to see the departsure of gardner/callback/whicham/cattermole
come on the boro

demba ba was without doubt the biggest loss, anyone who knows anything about football could see that.
i would have liked to have kept perch and simpson, great squad players.
whats the crack with bardsley? the photo of him in the casino spending his hard earned cash was great, you need to keep him

He is a proven goal scorer though and if he signs along with remy cant see us having many problems scoring like we did with Cisse up front alone last part of the season
