right i have a Toshiba VCR ,/ DVD recordable player , but no remote , have tried googling and ebaying but no joy, there is so many to pick from and the prices seem so silly for some of them . and not want to get wrong one .so am wondering if one of you out ther may have the same type and could give me the serial number of their remote the dvd vcr is toshiba

Go to any retail outlet that sell toshiba give them the serial number.......They might even have a look and see if they have a spare one for you

cheers , never thought of that, trouble is, there not much in s/shield that sells elctricals apart from argos,, up sunderland on sat ahve a look there

I know this sounds silly bob .. .. but the poond shop in shields does remote controls I got one for Ower little boy to keep him off the propper one ! It comes with code to punch in fir various models etc .. look up the one you want on the leaflet enclosed and bobs your uncle lol I was very suprised ..He can turn the telly over now .. . Give it a try .. cheap enough but can't remember how much tho sorry . .... don't incluse batteries tho
