Replacement Windows

Can anybody recommend a good, reputable window company in the South Tyneside / Wearside area?

Was going to just repaint my current frames, as we\'ll be moving to something bigger later in the year, but they seem to have started to rot slightly since they were last painted about 10 months ago.

Also, does anybody know what sort of lead times they work to? I will need them before the beginning of April when the bairns due.

Whoever you get to put your windows in make sure they are FENSA registered installers.

We got ours done a couple of years back. Had the old sash frames ripped out aswell. Only problew - it was blowing a gale that day and we got a load of shi##y black dust blown all over the house. We were still finding it days later. Not the installers fault, just bad luck with the weather.

got my house double glazed by british gas they done an excellent job for a good price when the lads were finishied there gaffer came to inspect the job he even checked they hadnt left glass or nails on the lawns well impressed
