I've just watched the last episode of Rex Hunt fishing adventures ,I'm not sure why it's having the plug pulled after 14 years but I'm gutted . I was speaking to my mate in Melbourne and apparently Rex has had some major problems that the press have jumped on big time , if you call getting caught with a high class hooker ( alledgedly) a major problem that is .

Nah Steve, can't imagine Jackie or Yvonne even mentioning it mate, not much anyway lol.

Jim.

LMAO, didn't even think of that side of it.

I suppose we could say we went halfies lol.

They would still find something to twist about it though.

Jim.

I will print this off and take it with us on new years eve mate, oh how they will laugh.

On second thoughts just bring your daft phone and take some more pictures and we will still be able to laugh when we get home lol.

Not a bad angler on his own shores, but sometimes I think it's a little concerning the way he sometimes "spear" releases fish.....holding them upright and just thrusting them, quite forcefully sometimes, into the water...now that, in my opinion, is bloody stupid!!
Good riddance Rexy, I think they mispelt his surname too.....;)

Yes Penn ,always followed by " and away she goes " and the camera panning away in case the fish bobs up on the surface .
Nice one Sless ,I didn't know that was his position lol.

I believe a study suggests that returning the fish the way Sexy Rexy does, stimulates the fish more (shock tactics prodably) and that is why if you notice they dart away

quite correct alan forces oxygenated water through the gills stimulating the fish to recover faster. in his defence he has explained why he did this on many occasions. from a personal point of view i could watch his programs all day his enthusiasm for our sport is infectious and the scenery where the programs are made is fantastic, real escapism!
doubt he would ever have filmed a show on lynemouth beach mind!!

I watched one of his older episodes tonight ,describing the scenery as his office , very very nice , Steve Starling did the same when fishing Sydney harbour .. I'm not jealous in any shape or form .
