Just a quickie, is 60lb a safe strentgh as an all round rig body. I'm after a bulk spool from uk hooks but from what I've read people are using anything from 60+. I'm just unsure if I should go 70 or 80 instead.

Very reliable gear, supple, knot's great super strong, can't fault it:)Tried loads over the years but found the blue marlin the best for me anyway's...

i got a 600yd or metre spool off ebay 70lb berkley trilene real strong good stuff

also a m8 off mine uses the clear seastrike 70lb bulk spool off ebay but they are not always on ebay they come and go.

I just got some 60 lb Blue Marlin after watching Paul on his Sandmans tackle blog. It looks ideal-strong and supple. Made loads of rigs with it the other day.

I have a spool of the sakuma stuff from moonfleet and have to say I can't fault it. I just use 60 or 70lb line which pretty much matches my shock leader strength. Might have a look at a few of the other lines above that you other lads use as a change.....

Ultima powerflex, low stretch, very very strong and reliable and doesn’t fray up like some others. Its a bit wiry and hard but soon straightens. Find Sakuma is too stretchy and clipped rigs can come undone.
