rig questions after deep thought....

hi lads. gonna go straight to the point ...i have been making rigs and been thinking bout these three ....the pulley dropper, the up n over(long n low), and clipped up running leger. seems to me they all would present the bait in the same manner on the seabed . puley dropper and up n over being equal in aerodynamics and better than the clipped up runing leger.... setting up the clipped up running ledger tho would be easiser than the other two ...so why is it that the pulley dropper seems to fare better? anyone ...?

After reading an article on this rig sometime ago I've been making and using ever since, works a treat, especially in big tides. The first fish i ever had on that rig was a massive scotch haddock, so its puts method to practice and certainly does work.

The rig itself has many good points. The favt the when you strike the lead is well off the bottom to help avoid snags (unless ya snagged anyways) It presents the bait very hard to the bottom, which is vital in big tides as the tide flow can often keep your bait well off the bottom, which can withmost normal pulley and up 'n' over rigs.
