is it to shallow to fish this side this time of year.when the tides out there looks loads of kelp there,also when you go down the steps in fromt of the grand and across the rocks to where the little island is,do you fish righ or left of it and is it woth a shot low tide day time at the time of year,any info would be great

both sides and to the front chance of a decent red cod, very heavy ground and emetys out on big tides,more a winter shot,had a twenty pounder out of the left hand side in the Tynemouth open a few years back,be careful as you have to wade over on med tides and can get trapped. the mark is called s...t hill. davy.
