As another year draws to an end I suppose it\'s time to start thinking of those \"new year resolutions\".

Normally I NEVER bother making any as I couldn\'t see the point in them. This year I AM making one - well several, I suppose........
less time working
less time worrying about work
less time sitting at this bloody computer

Reason for the above........I\'m getting tired of the 3:00am finishes

more time for my family
more time sleeping
more time fishing

Reason for the above......same as the other reason.

Well.........that\'s the intention anyway.......lol........like most new year resolutions, I wonder how long they\'ll last......lol

So why make these resolutions now?............had a 3:00am finish thismorning getting stuff ready for work and was at my desk at 6:30am. Sitting here at the minute absolutely knackered with a throbbing heed and eyes that feel like they\'ve got half of Shields beach in them......lol

Anybody else making any..................?

Not thought about it yet ,but as usual it\'ll be stopping drinking and get back to the gym or something like that. I used to keep to resolutions strictly at one time but these days it seems too easy to chill out with a beer or ten and not train enough if at all .
I remember the last time I stopped drinking completely I lasted seven months and was riding my bike for at least fifty miles a week and who knocks on my door ...the devil incarnate ..my best mate who emigrated to oz ,I hadn\'t seen him in years and it was a total shock which was then followed by fourteen nights on the drink in Newcastle.... and the rest is history as they say .
God loves a tryer but the devils loves to fart in ya kettle.

last year i resolved not to make any resolutions, ive cut down the amount of time im on the pc but i also need to get in shape, not getting any younger and the booze and cigs are taking there toll but i like them so im going to watch my diet instead

less chips and a more healthy diet

Lose at least a stone by my hols in June.

Used to be to get a fifty break at snooker (never topped 35) but since I hardly ever get the chance to have a game now I gave that one up. Maybe should try again.

stop nightclubbing fri&sat nights so i can get the boat out more often and get my extension finished by april ready for boat season &lose some weight

all will be hard to do

I\'m going to go to the gym every other day

Work a lot harder

Spend more time at home

Save more

Drink less

And try not to pester Mark as much

oh and not tell as many fibs ;)

Don\'t think I have made one in the last twenty years lol.

This year it may be different. I am going to make just the one.

To remind someone AGAIN and AGAIN about this.

less time working
less time worrying about work
less time sitting at this bloody computer

more time for my family
more time sleeping
more time fishing

Just cos I care mate.

Jim.

Make sure I\'ve got a spare pair of trousers for work
Watch less telly (I\'m only using the one eye from now on)
and get lovely and healthy and live in a place made out of stones somewhere, surrounded by wine bushes and pizza trees where I can\'t hear the new hamster breaking in it\'s new wheel.

Less sex and more political power I\'ve decided on as well.

i got to loose my kite no more broon ale no more chips take the dog out more stop smoking eat less fat eat less sugar use the tredmill insted of gathering dust go fishing more take the wife out more than once a year stop eating turkey and sprouts on christmas as it makes my arse smell like an african village
