Ring stinger...

Took two rods on a 250mile round trip to the famous cod mark Orford Island today.. My trusty NE codrod: Century Kompressor S...and my floppy cheapo Leeda Ikon Match.... Before even casting out, my tripod blew over and the two rods fell about three foot down onto the shingle. I thought - F**k, the cheap Leeda rings'll be buggered.. But no. The Leeda was ok, but the hard-as-nails Century rod had two rings shattered!?
.. I know I should've been less of a clumsy sod, but it was a bit disappointing.. Do Century re-ring on the warrantry?? - (I suppose not, like)
Any advice appreciated.

had the same problem with my leeda icon match, wind blew it over 3 rings nackered  got stan ( fish fingers) to replace all rings on the leeda icon match with kwangs.
same thing two weeks ago wind blew rod stand over bottom ring nackered.
you can have the most expensive rings on ya rod and if they hit the deck the wrong angle they are gone

The icon rings are especially crap though, a couple on mine have smashed very easily.
