made 11 casings out of some 12mm dia tube i had in the garage,these are craster skeer specials:D:D
havent put the lead in yet but they should come in about 7oz:D:Dvery like a sandeel,with a 8/0 treble hook in:D:D:D

its a nice sunny day and sea is flat,drift is about .5 of a knot:),dunstanburgh castle in the distance:)

its jeffs turn to crew:) off to the front of warlord,cast the special ripper about 30 metres in the direction of drift,perfect:exclam:

let it sink,ah theres the bottom:exclam: lift and drop lift and drop lift and drop, nearly straight up and down:exclam: any second now:DBANG fish on:D:D
WHOA,YA FELLA this fish does not want to come to come and see dunk:exclam::exclam:

shallow water got to be careful,coddys head going like a fiddlers elbow:exclam:

there we go weve got colour:exclam:ah nice one just on 8lb:D:D:D

Bit stir crazy are we Duncan?:D I know how you feel , but it's as nearly March and time to go catch fish , looking good for wednesday for my first proper day out after em ;)

going pretty good chris,but as jeff is mainly only out at weekends, hes got a proper job mon. to fri.:D:D its a bit easier to fill the diary.

however midweek will be different this year at amble,with up to 5 boats "angling"for trade this year thru the week:exclam:

norma at the shop is doing cartwheels:D:D:D:D

Aye, More competition but Jeff has an advantage, he's got the best deck hand/salesman in the Amble fleet :D;)

:D the 11 specials are finished now,and i have to say they are as fine as anything that has ever come off the lingking production line:D:D

lets hope the blighters take a fash or twa:):)
