first of all Happy New Year to every one,

mate and i decided to fish the marina last night got there bout 5.15pm another lad fishing when we got there but he had nowt, but fishing was slow with just a few whiti's being caught to top of tide so decided to move some where else, and again fishing was slow with whitri's getting caught then about 10.15 my went ballistic so picked the rod up and was still banging away so gave gentle dtrike on rod and reeled inn got a canny little fight of it and thought mebbes bout 4 lb but was a wrongf turned to be a lovely clean fish of 6.42lb and that was it no more decent bites till 12.30 and packed up and went home.
had to get me mate to pose with the fish as he not used to me camera and every time he tried take pic chopped summmit of

Well done on your catch. Lovely fish.
I couldn't buy a decent fish from the river at the minute. Doing ok at the coast though. Usually the other way round.
