River Tyne 15/12/06

Fished the river last night with Sixfootsteward, things looked promising when second chuck I hooked a fish that gave a good account of itself, in fact so good it riggled free just as I lifted it out of the water It looked about 2lb. After that we had loads of small bites but nothing came of them until the mackem landed a codling about 10pm, size but returned safely.

Neil also popped down to give his pairs partner some training

No Stu, across the lock gates on the walkway, just the other side of smiths dock. I think it's called High Shores.
