River Tyne 22/8/13

Fished the tyne at Hebburn today got there early and fished till 1pm, fished with two rods, bait was rag, fresh crab and lug the tide pull was very strong till an hour and a half either side of low water, I only went down early as i had plenty bait to use up, bites were few and far between and there was a lot of weed and bits of tree coming down managed one codling which went back after having his photo taken, caught on lug

Shame that sport was so patchy, but you had a bonny wee codling for the effort. Well done.:thumbup:

Yeah I'm back out tomorrow but not sure where to try over low water again

A nice cod mate shame no bigguns about but it's still nice to get out of the house welldone

i will be at hebburn tomorrow but the stone jetty end with the lads some time in the afternoon. Fished jarra park today 1230-630 between two of us we hasd a 22cm flounder and a 22cm codling. the fishing was very quiet only 2 salmon jumping all night aswell.

We had 2 flounders last night the biggest being 22cm from the stone jetty bit at hebburn.
