River Tyne - Cobles Landing 09/02/13

I had an early morning session at Cobles today 4am - 8.30am fishing the ebb. I was into fish from the off with a small tommy. Lots of action through to first light then as soon as the sun came up it all stopped and the rod tips went static. I gave it another hour then packed up. Total fish count was twelve - nine tommies, two coleys and the worlds smalled whiting Biggest fish was 30cm. Baits used rag and lug and fish were caught on both. So a fun session but nothing to take home for tea

Too cold atm for a 4am session for me haha you're brave Mike lad, sounds like a cracking session though.

Well done mike lots of small stuff is better than nothing mate were you using fresh bait or the lrf gear I am out Sunday with big rod and small gear with white isome worms to see how it goes
