river tyne fri afternoon

fished the tyne just up from the redheugh bridge

2 hrs either side of high tide using rag only ,the place is awash with tiny whiting

felt like coarse fishing i just needed a keep net it has been said before but its a great place to take the bairns fishing plenty of action for them
