River Tyne South Shields Good Friday

Fished Brighams this morning 0.30am until 5.30am. A nice full moon and a bit blowy at times. The river was full of rubbish and weed floating past I was pulling out weed with every cast. Hoping for a coddy after the recent blow and armed with a good selection of baits (rag, lug, squid, mackeral and raw prawn) but it was not to be and I only caught one fish - an eelpout/blenny.

Nice one mate, the weed is awful ain't it, bit of a sickner fishing those hours for an eelpout but better than nowt.
