took a couple of bags of rag down the ouseburn bit of the tyne this weekend , caught a small codling ,small whiting and a flatty it looked like the dab they filleted in this months sea angler & it had what looked like sea lice on the underside, does this mean it came from the sea and does this mean the flattys are starting to arrive ?? . on a more bizzare note a mallard duck took off and flew into my line (it was ok ) and i saw a streaker outside the free trade bar :o pity it was a p*ssed scotsman not a woman :)

no i was brollyless :) down at the bit opposite the boat club , did you catch any sticks ? i had a couple, didn't know they feed on rag

That's what this site is all about ,nice one lads ...........

Anyway I fished the same spot a good few years back in the summer ,loads of little tommies the place was jumping with them ,the lad I fished with said I could murder a pint but we're not dressed to go into the club .......... being a Walker lad I knew we'd be OVER dressed :o and guess what I was right :D

the tyne bar has a band on every sunday and you can hear them playing as they have the doors open . its like a little torture knowing its only a few hundred yards away with " the fine selection of continental beers and largers" they serve, and the toasties arn't bad either
