river tyne

had a few hrs down the tyne this afternoon had rag lug and razor I was getting some good bites but not hooking them changed hooks down to 2/0 and started catching instantly double shots of small codling none were size but hey atleast I was catching

I was at my secret mark xxxxxx on the gateshead side next to where the boat was but dont tell anyone . it looks like since the boat has gone it has ruined the mark normaly the bigger codling of about a pound have moved in looks like I will have to find anothere mark xxxxxx

cheers , i noticed that about this time last year you or your dad had a 5lber from the tyne bridge im assuming its the same mark ? , i love fishing the tyne as its only 10 mins away but its not half snaggy & some big bits of debris always float past im lucky if i only loose 1 rig a session

iam off down now cos the gf is at work kids off to grannies for dinner and Iam bored going to fish two rods one with a big bait and the other with two smaller baits
