went to the tyne last night with my dad and a mate nothing much doing just small codlings and one whiting, struggled to hold hold bottom all night

yes it was rather dull night son,but you managed afew,you just want the big uns now

a fished the walkway at shields yesterday 9.30am till 6.15pm and not have trouble holding bottom, tide pulled hard at times but a managed o k a was at top next to buoys you must have been down the other end. have fished walkway fairly often over the years not realising theres a different tide pull either end of the walkway.anyway glad to hear of fish getting caught at that end ,there was quite a few canny coli's couple of decent whiti's a and 2 sizable codling down my end and 6 year old got 3 flounder bout 1lb+each well done to your grandson bob he done well
