has anybody out there fished the river from jarrow up river this week was wondering if that big dredger at jarrow has scared the fish away was going to fish hebburn sunday with me son thanks

Fished Gateshead area last night,canny session.Few flatties loads of small codling and at high tide some good sized whiting too.Looks like it has`nt really made a difference,would imagine anything disturbed by the work would be washed upriver with the tide,for the fish to follow.Well that`s my theory lol.

theres been reports fish to bout 4lb and a canny few sizable fish from jarrow park where dredger is and other shots up to hebburn marina, but you will need to get there early mick as shields open is on sunday and gets busy at these places
