fished the wansbeck river today got a flattie straight away then nowt the rest of the morning. the flattie is about 1lb caught on black lug worn and rag worm.

Wansbeck is a great flatty mark, bad time to fish is though after all the rain we've had - look for a good dry spell and fairly flat seas for the bay or a nice sea for the mouth if you're hoping for silver spikeys.
