Me an me mate are going over to the Wear at the weekend but never fished there before. Any decent marks.

The most popular marks for the Wear are

North side of the Wear

Roker Pier.
Rat house (old north pier).
Glass Centre. Follow signs for National Glass centre.


South side of the Wear

Fish Quay.
Panns Bank.


All these spots tend to be snag free & have ample parking.
Mainly flatties being caught at the moment on rag & crab.

Runnidown,macky and crab are taking the most Flounders at the moment.
