Just wondering if anyone on here fishes the rivers or is it all stillwater

Ain't fly fished for a while like but the coquet was my favourite river. Which stretches do yer fish mate?

Elyhaugh mate. was in a syndicate there but packed it in as i never went up enough for it to be worth it. Great place though if yer want some good river fishing, i think the farm there now does day tickets so i'm told anyway

100% Agree with you ther that's whay av bean going to the beches

I fish all the Tynes plus the Rede and Derwent and a few jaunts to Scotland on the Tay,Lochy,Stinchar etc.
The Tyne system has fished well if you have access to some high water beats.
Had a couple last weekend @ 12 and 16lb on me light spinning gear(too big for the flee),which is nice

Not now mate,the only coarse fish i catch now is the odd big Chub when fishing the fly.
