Maryport inshore lifeboat

Maryport inshore lifeboat

Much appreciated Rob,one day I will be able to do this......move a link that is.lol

I wanted to put this link up on NESA as this group of lads n lasses are little know of out side of Maryport.
They are a bit of one offs but offer a great service to local fishermen, dinghy sailors,Yachts-men and all other that go to sea in the solway.
There support is only provided by donations from the local people and as such need all the help they can get.

The lifeboat helmsman I know personally and he's a great lad and when not out helping other at sea works a small fishing boat fishing for crabs and shell fish.
I've seen this crew launching the lifeboat in the teeth of a westerly gale by tractor off the beach at night to go and help a disabled fishing boat some 10miles off.
Also seen them going out to help rescue a dog....nowt's a bother to them.

Any small donations made to them would help the up keep of this fantastic lifesaving association alive in Maryport.
