Ro Thompson Axellerator ring repair

I have a rt and want to replace three of the rings plus end eye. does anyone know if there is a set of eyes that are available to match them. The RT has 9 most cheap sets Ive seen have 7. I also will need the epxy and varnish any help would be most appreciated.

You could take it to a local tackle dealer most carry rings you can buy seperate but you might find it will work out quite expensive if your going to try yourself as you say you have to buy the rings then the threads then the highbuild.you might be better off giving it to one of the lads on here whoever is nearest and all do a cracking job.Might work out cheaper.

if it is a recent rt the guides are not cheap they are alconites by fuji £40 for a full set

Thanks for the reply Its about two year old the adverts ive seen all say silicon carbide but ive no idea really do you know what model of fugi they are?

the rings will be fuji bnhg (Luminous green Shock ring) or they could be like fishfingers says fuji BMNAG (all black ring).

They are all black not the green shock ring type, I thought they might be the mnsg type but just gussing really do you know if you can buy them in singles?

Just removed the damaged ones and they are 1x 20 mm and 1 x 12mm plus tip I have had to replace this 5 times now so I want to get one of those tough looking diamite ones

Changed tip ring 5 times your not supposed to use it like a spear

yes you can buy them singles try guidesnblanks.com they should have them... if not i have got some here in the sizes your after that i have taken off rods your more than welcome to have them.

get your rod down to alan rings for nothing just the price of the labour and you no the job will be done right saves all the fuss i,m sure he will squeeze you in so you can get your rod back asap if you ask nicely
