does anyone fish the rocks through the day? with how much success? like maybe after a good blow pushes them in do they hang around heavy kelp areas through daylight? my dads off work next few weeks n offered to take me out for a few trips north of tyne but says he cant be chewed going at night. I know the river can fish well but i'd much rather be looking out to sea instead of houses n factorys!

just look at local open results ,still plenty decent fish to be had, even better chance for you,s as not as many anglers would be fishing same area,s as yourselfs.good luck and tight lines

tynemouth, cullercoats, whitley bay, hartly, collywell, allfish well in good seas at low water some better in daylight for example cullercoats harbour in a big sea, fish safe and be prepared to loose gear, now is the time to beat your p/b if you put the effort in just look at some of last weeks results.. davy.

Cambois Rocks can throw some good fish up in day light hours but is very hit & miss best fished after a big sea is dyeing away.

john.

If your on the rock ends and you can put it into deep water, you should catch fish ( if conditions are right ).
Fishing is a game of educated luck, give it a go .
