hi all any local rock areas or cliff tops starting to show few fish wanting some info were to fish this smear for summer cod cheers

Been up beadnell area twice and been very poor last session be in last week, have a match up there next week so hopefully start showing

Everything seems to be running behind, probably because of the crap / freezing cold spring and early summer (middle of June and today I was fishing in the same clothes I was wearing in November). A few Plaice only just starting to show, last couple of years I was catching them from late April onwards...

Hopefully the weather will sort itself out and things will start to pick up soon

hopefully mate, was told a while back off a well known angler that if we have seas between end April through too end may expect a poor summer, up to now very true

fished beadnell last thursday had two kelpies and my son james had 1 about 2lb but very poor off the knacker hole

Always a chance from Hartlepool rock ends...although it seems to get worse each passing year here.

I enjoy Whitburn during the summer - not too far away.

the haven at howick Northumberland can throw some nice kelpies up this time of year but like the lads are saying everything seems to be running slow could be that the sand eels are not showing yet in numbers

Think it's more to do with the shore crab haven't showed up

aye that's a good point thommaz like
