rockhoppin the morra

hello rockhopper mate have you fished there before i was going to try that shot ages ago but never got round to it.could you tell me the best tides to fish it and how dangerous it is mate thanks

Me to.

Me to.

I,m off for a couple of days. Going down to Hartlepool tomorrow take the old man out for some fish and chips. Buy £5 worth of rag then back up to the sea front when the old fella is back at home.
Rang Charlie who owns Friarage tackle shop on the Headland he said there is a lovely sea running and things are looking good for the next couple of days.
Is the season over - we,ll see.

Mick.

yeah, i fish hawthorn a lot. its a good spot after a big blow, fishing from high tide. its not realy that dangerous, the hill/cliff you have to climb down might put u off but its fine if you stick to the track. the only thing is..its a mommoth walk down to the mark, because most of the time you have to park at the top farm gate.

i always try to get down an hour before h/t and fish it back, then drop on to the bottom. and most of the time you are coverd from the wind!

any bait does well there, if the whities are in force its a hell of a sport on the point and you do occasionaly get the odd thumper. gey your self down mate its a top mark!

might do mate cheers for the advice sounds like a good shot not too keen on the walking bit lol:D but i might give it a go soon as i get some free time cheers mate:thumbup: :)
