will be going out on the chieftain out of Whitby in june Ive just bought a penn 330gti but the only rods Ive got are a abu muscule tip 15/40 and an old fladden charter 15/30 so was thinking of a new rod got a budget of £50 so what do you lads recommend will be fishing pirks mainly I think

Just use the rods you have , use the £50 to buy another reel and take the two set ups , if you breakout the other is instantly ready to use , then set the other up when motoring , always keep the both set up and your ready for any fish .
