Rod finishing - Tonys Tackle

I\'m after an 11\'10\" Century Tip Tornado Lite for bass fishing, plugging, heavy spinning and heavy float fishing, and Tonys Tackle sell it the cheapest (£155).

Has anyone used them or know what their rod finishing is like?

looks spot on but wasnt as good as jules rods

Used to have the century ultralite,if it\'s anything like that it\'ll be spot on.Had a Zziplex 2500ptx built by tony\'s about 10yrs back and that was spot on,think shambrook builds all his zippies now...

I got a Conoflex assassin built by Julian Shambrook and the build quality is fantastic.

I got a rod built by Tonys tackle - spot on!
WARNING - A TT lite is TOO HEAVY for plugging mind, considering it can cast 5oz leads easily!! Ideal for whitey bashing off roker. Sounds like you need a Confolex Assasin.

I aint got one but I would go for an assassin. I\'ve seen it loaded with 3oz no bother

Cheers for the advice lads. Just bought a Century Tip Tornado Ultra Lite from Bennetts in Sheffield. 12ft and on special clearance offer of £150 (no postage as I picked it up on my lunch hour!). Feels a lovely rod - can\'t wait to have a cast!
